“Being a spokesperson for Restoration MedSpa is a natural fit. I believe in the concept of self-care and the confidence it creates within us. Our ability to educate men and women regarding their options is invaluable. My wish is that my path to restoration will resonate and spur others into claiming the satisfaction and happiness it has given me”.
Why Kybella. This answer is easy! Have you ever started to take a picture with your phone, but the lens is reversed, and it’s zoomed in on you? It happens to me all the time! What I saw on that phone was my chin, another one and the beginnings of another. Before they needed their own zip code, I spoke with Marisa. I have a naturally round face; the addition of another chin added ten pounds and ten years to my face. Kybella not only removed stubborn fat under my chin, but it also improved my jawline or more accurately created one. The procedure was painless. I did have some swelling for a few days. Keep that in mind when scheduling!
There comes a point where the self-loathing tears at our souls. Seeing my body become lumpy and dumpy took a toll. Even as an athlete in a different chapter of my life at 5’9 and 110 pounds my mid-section was rectangular. My hip and waist measurements were virtually the same. Decades and babies later, the pooch, the bra fat and non-existent obliques every day mocked me and made me feel less than.
Coolsculpting has been around for some time and it sounds too good to be true, right? I find myself in the super cute (kidding) paper bikini while before photos are taken of my most unflattering body parts. I’m a means to an end kind of gal so, I was all in.
Meagan made a treatment plan and talked me through the procedure and all it would entail. She was quick to say the best results wouldn’t really be seen for a few months. I got on the table under a delightfully cozy throw, had a snack and caught up on my Netflix shows.
Did it hurt? That’ the first question most people ask. There was some minimal and fleeting discomfort afterwards. Again, means to an end. The first look I had at the before and after photos I was amazed. What we see every day on the way to the shower becomes the same. Before and after photos are so important! Think of it like this: If you live with your child every day, you won’t see the subtle changes as he or she grows. A relative who seldom sees that child will notice stark changes. It’s the same with us and our Coolsculpting results.
Would I encourage you to try it? Yes! You have nothing to lose (but inches and fat). Get your complimentary consultation and then make the decision for yourself. Self-loathing is so last year.
Having a career in the media, being in front of a camera was and is unavoidable. I was forced to see myself on television, magazines, and websites (and the most horrifying) billboards. I did not like the way my teeth looked. They were straight (thanks Mom and Dad) but not as symmetrical or white as I would like. At the time I was able to get veneers on my top teeth. Wow! What a difference that made. My natural smile does not usually show my bottom teeth, so I stopped there. It has been fifteen years since then and I was noticing my lower teeth showing more. Not only were they showing, but they were also showing that I love black coffee. Teeth whitening at Restoration MedSpa is a quick and painless process. Gracey was my aesthetician. She is a gentle soul and has a gentle touch. She really understands and lives Restoration MedSpa’s philosophies. Coffee? Red Wine? We have a Gracey for that!
